MH Ball Pythons is owned by Matt Hanlon and is located in Western Massachusetts. Matt has always been a reptile enthusiast, his passion was clear even as a young boy. In his teens he became quite the hobbyist, owning a wide variety of reptiles including lizards, monitors, ball pythons, boas, turtles, tortoises, green trees and more. His wife, Cat, has also always loved animals. When they met in 2006, she had just started getting into reptiles and owned one ball python and a turtle. It wasn't long before they merged their collection and Matt started breeding ball pythons on a small scale. In 2015 he decided to officially make a name for himself and MH Ball Pythons was created. He had a logo designed, made a Facebook page, and started vending local shows around New England.
MH Ball Pythons is focused on breeding a wide range of ball python morphs. We are very passionate about recessive genes and specifically interested in producing a wide variety of multi-recessive combos while also throwing some incomplete dominant genes into the mix. His very first project was an attempt at Albino Pieds, but that quickly changed when we started working with the Candy gene. He invested in a variety of morphs, including Candy, Albino, Desert Ghost, TSK Axanthic, Pied, Black Pastel, Banana, GHI, Mojave, Ultramel, Orange Dream, Tri-Stripe, Ghost, Mahogany, Clown, and more.
MH Ball Pythons concentrates highly on the quality and care of the animals, and the service provided to customers is just as important. MHBP strives to make sure its customers are happy, satisfied, and fully understand everything they need to know when it comes to the ball pythons we produce. Whether you are a seasoned breeder looking for a multi-gene powerhouse, or a newcomer looking for your first pet, MH Ball Pythons will almost always be able to help.
